Colton Lyons is the Student Body President at the University of Colorado Boulder. In this position he oversees a 24-million-dollar budget and numerous campus facilities such as the Recreation Center and the University Memorial Center. In addition, Colton works with local, state, and federal officials to ensure that the rights afforded to students under the United States Constitution are protected. Colton is driven to get more students involved with student government that way their voices can be heard. Because Colton truly believes that feisty debate is a necessity on college campuses, he is striving to promote an increase in intellectual diversity at CU Boulder.
He is a senior majoring in political science with a minor in business analytics and will be attending law school this fall.
