The Emerging Leaders Council (ELC) is a select network of young professionals (ages 20-29) from across the U.S. who are rising thought leaders, influencers, and policymakers. This group includes 40+ aspiring writers, educators, business leaders, lawyers, filmmakers, and more. Since 2017, ELC members have been attending the Annual Freedom Conference on scholarship, supporting SI events, writing and publishing op-eds, and changing the hearts and minds of their generations.

With the support of The Steamboat Institute, ELC members are trained and educated on founding principles, media and journalism, persuasion, and leadership, allowing them to inspire their peers and create a chain reaction of engaged, liberty-minded citizens.

Through our Emerging Leaders Council (ELC), comprised of promising young leaders from across America, we are training and inspiring our next generation of leaders to ensure that freedom is not extinguished on our watch by:

Offering 2-day Leadership Summit in Washington, DC, featuring nationally recognized leaders in first principles, leadership, media skills, and networking

One-on-one mentoring to develop confidence, productive focus, and well-articulated convictions; offer encouragement, experience, wisdom and practical advice

Training in writing, media placements, social media, video production, podcast production, and other vehicles to amplify the voices of this next generation of conservative thought leaders

Offering outstanding networking opportunities through Steamboat Institute’s vast network of speakers, Tony Blankley Fellows, Board members, and supporters.

Providing scholarships to Steamboat Institute’s annual Freedom Conference, with unparalleled opportunities to meet and mingle with our nation’s leaders in conservative thought and policy.

The Steamboat Institute recognizes that freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We are finding new, innovative ways to engage students and citizens with ideas that will build a free and prosperous future. We amplify young voices in favor of natural and Constitutional rights.

This is how we preserve freedom for future generations.
