Anelise Powers
Anelise Powers serves as a Policy Analyst for the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s Election Protection Project, which focuses on furthering election security and transparency in key battleground states. Prior to her work at Texas Public Policy Foundation, Anelise worked in the Policy Reform department of the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, where she assisted students, faculty members, and administrators in reforming written speech-related policies to comply with First Amendment standards and free speech promises.
Anelise graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a Political Science Degree in 2017, from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in 2020, and is a member of the State Bar of California. During her time in law school, Anelise competed on Pepperdine’s trial team and served in an editorial position on the Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal. Her work has been featured in Evie Magazine, The Federalist, and the Washington Times.
