Calvin Blaylock

Emerging Leaders Council

Calvin Blaylock serves on the Development leadership team at The Heritage Foundation. In this role, he partners closely with the Vice President of Development on strategy and operations for the 45-person department. His responsibilities include executive support, talent management, donor relations, and strategic communications to Heritage’s 500,000 generous donors.

Prior to joining Heritage full-time, Calvin served the Leadership Institute as Donor Relations Officer for the Northeast region. While there, he managed relationships with donors to fund LI’s grassroots programs to train conservative activists.

Calvin is a recent graduate of the University of Missouri, where he studied business and social work. The Omicron Delta Kappa leadership society named him as one of the top 14 students in the university’s class of 2018.

Calvin continues to participate in a multitude of fellowship programs with organizations like Alliance Defending Freedom, Conservative Partnership Institute, Forge Leadership Network, Passages Israel, The Fund for American Studies, and more.

In his personal time, Calvin is the deacon of children’s ministry at Capitol Hill Baptist Church, a long-time volunteer with International Justice Mission, and avid flag football and volleyball player.
