Carine Hajjar

Carine Hajjar is a columnist and member of the Editorial Board at The Boston Globe, where she writes on immigration, crime, national security, higher education, and national elections. She was awarded the Joseph Rago Memorial Fellowship for Excellence in Journalism by The Fund for American Studies in 2022, during which she served as a fellow on The Wall Street Journal’s Editorial Board.

Her work has also appeared in National Review, and she has provided commentary on Fox News, Fox Business, and NewsNation. Carine graduated from Harvard College in 2021 with a degree in government and economics. She is based between Boston and New York City.
