Emma Eisenman
Emma Eisenman serves as the Director of Development for the Steamboat Institute, where she is dedicated to advancing America’s first principles through long-lasting connections and donor stewardship. With a diverse and dynamic career thus far, Emma brings a wealth of experience in both the nonprofit and private sector, and her passion for conservative values drives her every endeavor.
Before joining the Steamboat Institute, Emma’s career led her to Moore, an omni-channel marketing company, where she worked alongside the Founder in business and served as Director of Development for his private ranch in northern Colorado. Prior to this role, Emma was the Program Manager at Hillsdale College in Washington, D.C., where she managed programs that empowered the next generation of conservative leaders.
A proud graduate of Hillsdale College, Emma holds a B.A. in German, with a focus in politics and law. Emma’s love for her Alma mater runs deep and her time at Hillsdale left an indelible mark, both academically and personally. During her college years, she studied abroad in Würzburg, Germany, where she received departmental honors for her original thesis on author Friedrich Dürrenmatt and the themes of “Gerechtigkeit, Moral und Frieden”. In the fall of 2020, she spent her final semester at the Hillsdale College Kirby Center in Washington, D.C. where she balanced evening classes with a position at the U.S. Department of State in the Office of Northern European, Arctic, and Baltic Security.
Emma has made a home in the Colorado mountains where she spends time training her Westfalen German Riding Pony, Mariposa, searching for the next best sushi restaurant, and exploring the West. An avid equestrian, Emma returns to Virginia to visit friends and fox hunt with the Old Dominion Hounds as often as she can. Though she now resides in the Rockies, she calls her native state of Michigan home and visits regularly to spend time on the Great Lakes with her family. She is the proud big sister to two younger brothers, and loves cheering them on as they pursue their degrees and careers.
Emma is never far from the companionship of her West German Shepherd, Bärlach, who is always by her side.
