Ethan Cornell

Ethan Cornell is a Master’s Student at Colorado School of Mines (MS Natural Resources and Energy Policy) and an alumnus of Wofford College (BA International Affairs and Environmental Studies). His passion lies in the intersection of energy policy, technology, and governance, with a focus on how emerging innovations can inform effective public policy. He has worked on a U.S. Department of Energy grant focused on hydrogen and stakeholder engagement, and currently works with the Independence Institue on energy and transportation policy. Previously, Ethan served in the office of Congressman William Timmons as a scholar for the Fund for American Studies (TFAS), gaining hands-on experience in federal policymaking. Upon graduation in December, he is pursuing opportunities in government affairs, energy policy, and regulatory engagement, with a focus on advancing pragmatic and innovative energy solutions.
