Eve Gersh

Eve is a junior majoring in public policy at The University of Texas at Dallas. She works for the university’s sustainability office managing their Bee Campus USA program which educates students on the value of pollinators and gives them a hands-on opportunity to experience beekeeping within the apiaries on campus. She also works in the sustainability department for the City of Plano maintaining the city’s demonstration gardens and supporting the Plano Community Garden volunteers’ mission to provide food for the community. Eve is proud to represent the Sumners Foundation as a scholar studying and promoting the art of self-government. Her focus is on bringing people together to create solutions that protect human health and the environment.
