Eve Velasquez
Eve Velasquez is a Law & Policy Fellow at the Cicero Institute, where she focuses on healthcare policy reform—particularly Certificate of Need laws and nutrition policy. She is completing her final semester in Pepperdine University’s Master of Public Policy program, specializing in Applied Economics and International Relations & National Security. She earned her BA in Political Science, with a focus on political theory, from California State University, Long Beach in 2024.
A graduate of the Health Reformers Academy, Eve’s work centers on advancing free-market healthcare solutions through evidence-based policy reform.
Eve was the founding chairman of the Young Americans for Freedom chapter at Golden West College. At Pepperdine, she serves as Vice President of the John Quincy Adams Society and as an editor for the Pepperdine Policy Review.
In October 2025, Eve participated in the Cato Institute’s Health Policy Workshop and presented at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute’s Summit on American Politics and Government, exploring the intersection of classical education philosophy and modern policy challenges.
