Eve Velasquez
Eve Velasquez is a graduate student at Pepperdine University’s School of Public Policy, studying Applied Economics & International Relations and National Security. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a focus on political theory from California State University, Long Beach in 2024.
A graduate of the Health Reformers Academy, where she served as a fellow, Eve is passionate about advancing free-market healthcare reform and practical policy solutions. She was the founding chairman of the Young Americans for Freedom chapter at Golden West College, leading its successful launch and early advocacy efforts.
Eve works full-time as a Development Officer at 1517, a Christian nonprofit, supporting donor relations and fundraising. At Pepperdine, she serves as Vice President of the John Quincy Adams Society and as an editor for the Pepperdine Policy Review.
Eve recently presented at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute and she’s scheduled to present at the Cato Institute’s Health Policy Workshop. Eve also serves as a Law & Policy fellow at the Cicero Institute.
Eve lives in Huntington Beach with her husband, Anthony, and their husky, Serena.
