John Richardson

John Richardson is a Visiting Fellow at the Alabama Policy Institute, where he focuses on research in state policy and civic renewal.

He was an Eisenhower Global Scholar at the
University of Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government, where he earned a Master of Public Policy and wrote his thesis on the future of conservatism in Alabama. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama, he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and named a Witt University Fellow and Blackburn Fellow. John previously served in the Student Government Association, coached soccer at Holt High School, helped plant a local church, and founded Alabama’s chapter of FarmHouse fraternity. He is from Birmingham, Alabama.
