Lauren Hilley is the Executive Assistant and Program Associate at the Steamboat Institute. She is also the founder and marketing specialist at her start-up Cashmere & Co. LLC, a boutique digital marketing agency dedicated to elevating the brand identity of small businesses and nonprofit organizations in northwestern Colorado. Currently, Lauren interns for the Leadership Program of the Rockies and works at the Craig Chamber of Commerce as the membership coordinator and project manager for the National Civics Bee. Her work at the Chamber fulfills her commitment to the spirit of free enterprise and enthusiasm for civic education.
Lauren is a senior at Colorado Christian University, completing her bachelor’s in marketing. Previously, she studied economics at the Colorado School of Mines, where she was a recipient of the First-Year Innovation & Research Scholar Training Fellowship and worked in the Mines Economics and Business Department. As a former economic research fellow at Mines, Lauren remains passionate about Colorado’s energy industry and energy transition. Lauren serves on Hope Pregnancy Center’s board of directors, Bear River Young Life’s executive and special events committees, and Yampa Valley Community Foundation’s grants committee. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball and chasing the beautiful sunsets of Colorado’s great northwest.
