Madelynne Wahrmund

Madelynne Wahrmund is a Joint Replacement Associate Sales Representative for Stryker Orthopaedics. As a graduate of both the Medical Sales College and of Lafayette College, majoring in Orthopedic Reconstruction and Neuroscience, respectively, she spends each day in the operating room, caring for civilian patients, veteran patients, and Surgeon customers. Her passions lie in medical devices and joint replacement surgery and has recently undergone training in surgical robotics.

During her time at Lafayette College, Madelynne had a Division I full-ride scholarship to play volleyball for the Leopards. In Wahrmund’s four years in maroon and white, she, along with her teammates, took the team from a 0 wins and 16 losses record to second in the conference by her graduation. This accomplishment is one of her greatest and is a testament to the grit of her upbringing.

Madelynne was raised on a Fredericksburg, Texas cattle ranch. As a sixth-generation rancher, she aims to conserve the land and her community through being involved in political happenings, which is part of her motivation for involvement with the Steamboat Institute and Emerging Leaders Council. In the day to day, Madelynne brings a conservative perspective to surgery, and to the military hospital she works in.

In her rare personal time outside of the operating room, Madelynne continues to play recreational volleyball, rides horses, and enjoys being active in the church.
