Mark A. Stevens

Mark A. Stevens is the founder and managing partner of S-Cubed Capital, a private family office investment firm, since 2012. He was a managing partner from 1992 to 2012 of Sequoia Capital, a Menlo Park, CA based venture capital firm. He had been an associate there from 1989 to 1992. Previously, he held technical sales and marketing positions at Intel Corporation and was a member of the technical staff at Hughes Aircraft Company. 

Mr. Stevens is a director of Nvidia, an investor and executive board member of the Golden State Warriors and a member of the executive committee of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Foundation and Vice-Chairman of their current $500M capital campaign. He is also a board member of Sobrato Capital, the Harvard Business School Dean’s Board of Advisors, and the Yampa Valley Community Foundation. In addition, he serves on the Life Sciences Council at Stanford University, on the Board of Overseers at the Hoover Institution at Stanford and is a former lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Mark is a long serving member of USC’s Board of Trustees (currently chair of the Investment Committee). 

Mark holds a BSEE and BA (Economics) (both magna cum laude) and an MS in Computer Engineering from USC and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He also was awarded an honorary doctorate in human letters (LHD) from USC in 2016.
