Megan Wahrmund is a senior at Texas A&M University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications and Journalism, with a minor in Economics. She is actively involved in several campus organizations, including Young Women for America and the Zeta Nu chapter of Alpha Chi Omega.

As a proud, 7th generation cattle rancher from Fredericksburg, Texas, Megan has a deep connection to agriculture and rural values. With deep-rooted conservative values, Megan aspires to a career in politics. Currently she is studying for the LSAT exam and applying to law schools to further her ambitions.

Megan’s passion for leadership extends beyond academics, as she is also a former Division 1 volleyball player at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She currently serves as a coach at Skyline Volleyball Club.

Megan’s involvement with The Steamboat Institute began last August at the institute’s 16th annual Freedom Conference in Beaver Creek, Colorado. Her sister, Madelynne Wahrmund is also a member of the Emerging Leader’s Council. Together, the two sisters aspire to serve their community of Fredericksburg and their country with their continuing political determinations.
