Randy Thornton
Randolph I. Thornton served as Managing Director and Senior Credit Officer at Citigroup where he worked for 34 years until his retirement in 2004, twenty of which were as a senior executive in its corporate restructuring practice. Following his career at Citi, Mr. Thornton served on numerous corporate boards including Comdisco (where he served as President & CEO for 17 years), Core-Mark International serving as its non-executive Chairman for 16 years, non-executive Chairman of National Energy & Gas Transmission, as well as a board member of Looking Glass Networks, among others. Mr. Thornton graduated from Lafayette College in 1967 with a B.A. in History and earned an MBA in Finance at Columbia Business School in 1971. He previously served in Vietnam as a US Army 1st Lieutenant, receiving two bronze stars with the 9th Infantry Division. He has been married to his wife, Kate, for 50 years and they reside in Vero Beach, FL and Charlestown, RI. They have two daughters.
