Sofia Barba is an incoming graduate student at Pepperdine University’s School of Public Policy. She holds a B.S. in Business Marketing and Honors Humanities from Azusa Pacific University. During her time in the APU Honors College, she researched and wrote her senior thesis on spiritual transformation in Dante’s Divine Comedy. Throughout her undergraduate career, she gained experience in live production and broadcast, leading video crews and directing chapel services, concerts, and athletic broadcasts. By combining her creative background with policy training, she hopes to help shape policies that protect creators’ rights while fostering innovation in creative industries.
