ELC Executive Committee member Anthony Jones has received a Presidential Appointment at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Anthony has been a member of the Emerging Leaders Council since 2021.

Anthony has served the Emerging Leaders Council as a member of our executive board. He consistently demonstrates excellence in leadership and scholarship in all that he does. Anthony is leaving a position at Texas Public Policy Foundation, where he worked as a policy scholar focused on education, workforce development and local government.
Anthony will serve as a Confidential Assistant in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He will be responsible for ensuring that all USDA programs are administered according to existing civil rights laws. We are so proud and excited for Anthony, and for all of the great work our Emerging Leaders do!
